These terms apply to the Vocab Swiper app and website (together, "Vocab Swiper"), run by Strate Labs Limited, a New Zealand company ("we", "us"). By using Vocab Swiper you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Words, translations, example sentences, stories and audio are partly generated by AI and checked against dictionaries where we can. They can still contain mistakes, so don't rely on Vocab Swiper for anything where an error would matter, such as medical, legal or safety information. If you spot an error, please tell us.
The app, its design, word decks, generated content and the Vocab Swiper name and logo belong to us or our licensors. You may use them to learn with the app. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute them.
We're always improving Vocab Swiper, so features, languages and word decks may change. We'll try to keep the service available, but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Vocab Swiper is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded, including New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.
How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. If you keep using Vocab Swiper after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
